1. Using Roameez

By using Roameez, you agree to be at least 13, use the app legally, and not abuse it.

2. Login & what you can't do

You log in with Google or Facebook; we only receive name and email. You're responsible for your account. You may not use Roameez for illegal activities, hack or disrupt the app, spam or harass, use bots without permission, or reverse engineer the app (except where law allows).

3. Your trips

You own your trip data. Trips are private unless you share them. Only people you invite can see or edit a shared trip. We don't publish or sell your trip details.

4. Phone, location & recommendations

Phone and location are optional and used for notifications and personalization; you can turn both off anytime. We may show travel suggestions and AI-generated ideas—these are guidance only. You should verify important details and are responsible for your own travel decisions.

5. Third-party services & payments

Roameez uses or links to other services (e.g. Google Maps, login providers); their terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third parties. Roameez does not currently collect payment information; if we add paid features later, payments will use proper providers.

6. No guarantees & ending use

The app is provided "as is"; we're not responsible for travel problems or decisions you make. You can stop using Roameez or request account deletion anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break the rules.

Legal Version

The following is a more formal description of the terms governing your use of Roameez. It should be reviewed by your legal counsel.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Roameez website, applications, and related services. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. You may use the Services only if you are at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and not barred under applicable law.

2. Accounts, acceptable use & content

You authenticate via a third-party provider; we receive limited profile information and do not receive your password. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You agree not to use the Services unlawfully, interfere with operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), use bots without consent, or harass or impersonate others. You retain ownership of your User Content; you grant Roameez a limited license to host and display it to provide the Services. Trip data is private by default and not made public.

3. No warranties & limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ROAMEEZ DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. ROAMEEZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL ROAMEEZ'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

4. Termination, governing law, changes

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk. You may stop using the Services and request account deletion. These Terms and any disputes are governed by California law; legal actions shall be brought in San Francisco, California. We may modify these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
